Hope Leslie

Hope Leslie or Early Times in the Massachusetts was a novel written by Catharine Maria Sedgwick, first published in 1827. The book is considered significant because of its strong feminist tones and its fairness in dealing with Native Americans, both of which were rare at the time the book as written.
