Hope is a BBC Books original novel written by Mark Clapham and based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Eighth Doctor, Fitz and Anji.
Like all Doctor Who spin-off media, its canonicity in relation to the television series is unclear.
The story is set in the far future and introduces the character of Silver. The story also addresses Anji's feelings towards the death of her boyfriend Dave at the end of Escape Velocity.
