[edit] Welcome.
Welcome to the Wikipedia. I hope you enjoy your stay. Wow, you really seem to have jumped right in - speaking for WP as a whole, thanks for your contributions so far. Looks like you're off to a great start, but if you need assistance, there's always WP:BC. Again, welcome! // hackmiester (contact) 02:10, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, I just realised I sounded like I was directing you off to WP:BC so you wouldn't ask me questions! (*smacks self*) How I managed to forget to say this I don't know, but I will also personally answer your questions if you have any. :-) // hackmiester (contact) 14:14, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to the Films WikiProject!
Hey, welcome to the Films WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of films and film characters. If you haven't already, please add {{User WikiProject Films}} to your user page.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- The project has a monthly newsletter currently in production; it will be delivered as a link, but several other formats are available.
There is a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Want to jump right into editing? The style guidelines show things you should include.
- Want to know how good our articles are? Our assessment department has rated the quality of every film article in Wikipedia. Check it out!
- Want to collaborate on articles? The Cinema Collaboration of the Week picks an article every week to work on together.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Cbrown1023 03:16, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Diamonds Are Forever (film)
Regardless of what it says on the poster (many movie posters have inconsistencies on them), it is not the title of the film--wouldn't you agree?

[edit] Psycho (1960 film)
Hi Hondo, I commented and moved the talk to: ELAC talk page: Psycho (1960 film) so to get group consensus. Thanks: --Sadi Carnot 17:41, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Tab method
Hi Hondo, the ELAC team is presently trying out new test methods on how to facilitate the use and growth of long articles. Admin Gurch suggests that “tabs” might be a useful tool in the growth of large articles. Unless there are any major objections, over the next day or two, I am going to format this page with tabs. This will only be a test run. According to Gurch, it has never been done before with articles. Thus, I will implement the changes (which can be reverted in the weeks to follow if need be) and then we can all debate the pros and cons of the new format method. Please leave comment as to suggestive tab names (four in total) or if you have major objections to this move. Thanks: --Sadi Carnot 23:20, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
