Hongkou Football Stadium

Hongkou Football Stadium (虹口足球场) is a metro station in the city of Shanghai.

This station is part of Line 3 and a future transfer station to Line 8. From this station a lot of regional buses leave to places mostly in the vicinity of Shanghai like Songjiang and Zhujiajiao. The amount of buses leaving from here is considerably less than at Shanghai Stadium though.

Directly behind the stadium is Luxun Park, which contains the Luxun Mausoleum. This is the last resting place of famous Chinese writer Lu Xun. Within walking distance you can also find the Shanghai International Studies University, which makes many students use this station.
