The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Traditional Chinese: 香港交易所, also 港交所; abbreviated as HKEX ; SEHK: 0388) is the stock exchange of Hong Kong. With a total market capitalization of over HK$12 trillion (US$1.54 trillion) as of November 2006, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange ranks 7th in the world by market capitalization of listed companies (see List of stock exchanges for complete rankings). Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx, 香港交易及結算所有限公司, also 香港交易所 or 港交所) is the holding company of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited and Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited.
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is listed on its own exchange.
- Trading Hours: From 10:00am to 12:30pm and from 2:30pm to 4:00pm
(Summer: From 10:00pm to 12:30pm and from 2:30am to 4:00am New York time) (Winter: From 9:00pm to 11:30pm and from 1:30am to 3:00am New York time)
