Hong Kong Gold Coast is a Mediterranean-themed resort complex located at 1 Castle Peak Road, Castle Peak Bay, New Territories, Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Gold Coast is set in the picturesque Castle Peak Bay with European Continental architecture, evoking the romantic sentiments of the Mediterranean. The setting sun and swaying palm trees offer local residents a different flavor from their normal busy city life.

Hong Kong Gold Coast consists of the Hong Kong Gold Coast Residences which features apartments and beach houses, the Hong Kong Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club, the Hong Kong Gold Coast Shopping Mall, as well as the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel. The five-star resort and conference hotel is situated next to the Golden Beach, a popular beach that is dotted with local residents during the weekends. The beach is connected to a promenade that leads to the Dolphin Square which features a statue of three golden dolphins. Dolphin Square is a popular tourist destination where one can often spot the rare pink dolphins swimming around the marina and Castle Peak Bay.

The Hong Kong Gold Coast Residences is home to one of the largest expatriate communities in Hong Kong and its low-rise beach houses are a very popular alternative to those on Hong Kong Island.

The Hong Kong Gold Coast is located in the north-western New Territories of Hong Kong, a 30 minute drive from Central in Hong Kong Island or Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon. The development is strategically located with convenient access to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, Chek Lap Kok Airport, Hong Kong Disneyland and China. The Gold Coast’s connectivity to China will be further enhanced when the new ferry pier in the nearby area begins operations to Shenzhen and Zhuhai. Residents at the Gold Coast and guests at the Gold Coast hotel have an array of transportation options at their fingertips. A comprehensive private shuttle bus service to Central, Wan Chai, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi and the airport is supplemented by several public bus, minibus and taxi services.

The Hong Kong Gold Coast Shopping Mall, located at 1 Castle Peak Road, is a delightful 2-storey shopping mall with 230 convenient basement car parking spaces. Designed in a Mediterranean style to accompany the Gold Coast Hotel and residences, the mall attracts local residents as well as tourists to its open air market called Montmartre. The shopping mall is famous for its seaside alfresco-dining food outlets which range from Thai, French, Chinese, Shanghainese restaurants and cafes. It also has a wide range of amenities including convenience stores, a supermarket, laundry, photo and hair services, etc.

Evoking the name and spirit of the well-known Montmartre in Paris, the Hong Kong Gold Coast Montmartre began in July 1995 as a destination for street art and culture and has since drawn flocks of local and foreign visitors during the weekends. The Art Promenade at the waterfront of the Hong Kong Gold Coast Shopping Mall is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from noon to 10pm (Saturday closes at 11pm). More than 80 kiosks are represented by enthusiasts of Western arts and crafts who display their talents and masterpieces, ranging from human portraits, caricatures, ornament-making, pottery, model-making, special dyeing and so on.

The Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel is located 30 minutes away from Central Hong Kong in the Gold Coast area. In stark contrast to most Hong Kong area hotels, Gold Coast is set on 10 acres of land, has only 450 guestrooms, and is Hong Kong's only 5-star resort and conference centre.

The hotel's endless facilities and services are extremely popular for weddings and corporate events. Set on sun soaked Castle Peak Bay amid lush tropical greenery and with access to a spectacular golden sandy beach, the Hong Kong Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club is the premier marina, country club and spa facility in Hong Kong offering comprehensive member amenities and services. The Hong Kong Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club is located next to the Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel, the Hong Kong Gold Coast Shopping Mall, and the Hong Kong Gold Coast Residences. It is host to the annual Gold Coast Boat Show, Hong Kong’s largest and most dynamic leisure boating exhibition, and is ideally situated for viewing the famous Chinese Pink Dolphins who reside close by.

Golden Beach is located at the 18.5 km milestone of Castle Peak Road. It has a total area of 78,500 m² and a length of 545 meters. The beach water is available for swimming. Golden Beach is unique amongst the beaches of Hong Kong in that it has a volleyball court. The Hong Kong Beach Volleyball Team occasionally practices on Golden Beach. Golden Beach is served by KMB buses no. 52M from Kwai Fong and no. 53 from Tsuen Wan.
