The Hong Kong Cultural Centre (Chinese: 香港文化中心) is a multipurpose performance facility in Tsim Sha Tsui of Hong Kong. Located at Salisbury Road, it was founded by the former Urban Council and, after 2000, is administered by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong Government. It is a place for a wide variety of cultural performances.

Along the coast of Tsim Sha Tsui, former location of Kowloon Station of Kowloon-Canton Railway, the centre is by the side of Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier of Star Ferry. The cultural centre in the cluster with Hong Kong Space Museum and Hong Kong Museum of Art. The historical of Clock Town stands between the centre and the pier.

[edit] Performance and other facilities

  • Concert Hall, with 2,019 seats, is where the 8000-pipe Austrian pipe organ in Asia is installed; it is the largest in Asia. The oval-shape two-tiered auditorium is finished in high quality oak and includes an adjustable acoustic canopy and curtains. It is the home of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
  • Grand Theatre, with 1734 seats in three tiers, was designed for large scale opera, ballet, and musicals.
  • Studio Theatre, with 300 to 496 seats depending upon the set-up, can accommodate smaller-scale theatre and performance works.
  • Exhibition Gallery
  • 4 foyer exhibition areas.
  • 11 rehearsal and practice rooms.
