Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum

Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum (香港懲教博物館) is located at 45, Tung Tau Wan Road, Stanley,Hong Kong. It was housed in the Staff Training Institute of Hong Kong Correctional Services Department; later, it was moved to a two-storey building next to the Staff Training Institute. There is a mock guard tower on the top of the new museum building.

It is under the management of Hong Kong Correctional Services Department.

There are nine galleries in the museum:[1]

  • Gallery 6: Vietnamese Boat People

  • Gallery 8: Staff
  • Gallery 9: Overseas Cooperation and Experience Sharing

There are also two mock cells and mock gallows in the museum.

Tuesdays to Sundays: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
It is closed on Mondays and Public Holidays.
