IMDb profile

Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves is a 1997 direct-to-video sequel to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and Honey, I Blew Up the Kid.

The Szalinski family has returned from the other two movies. In the movie, Wayne Szalinski has become president of Szalinski Labs. He is banned by the FDA (and his wife Diane) from using his invention, a shrink ray, for the rest of his life. However, Wayne uses the shrink ray occasionally.

As Wayne is leaving for work, Diane orders him to get rid of the Tiki Man, because it takes up so much room and she does not want to hang the coats on it. Wayne restarts the shrink ray and successfully reduces the Tiki Man to pocket-size, but due to a fluke, when he and Diane walk in, they are both shrunk, along with Gordon and his wife. The kids then take over, throwing a wild party. The parents eventually get their attention and are successfully brought back to normal size. In the end, Wayne made the Tiki Man large in the backyard.
