[edit] Profile
A good friend of Henry Aldrich, Homer Brown attends Centreville High, the same highschool that Henry goes to. Considered somewhat of a dim-wit, Homer is nervous and a food lover. However, he is also fairly dependable, and helps Henry whenever there's a predicament.
[edit] History
One of the show's later characters, Homer was played by Jack Brown, and in the final season was played by John Fiedler (who would go on to a well known role as the voice of Piglet in Winnie-the-Pooh), Michael O'Day, and Jack Grimes.
[edit] Facts
- Homer and Henry both have identical writwatches made by the same company, according to the episode The New Suit. However, Homer's band is much more worn than Henry's, and the second hand is missing.
- In the episodes in which John Fiedler voiced Homer, listen closely and you'll hear the very close identity of Homer's voice and that of Piglet from Winnie-the-Pooh, as Fiedler did both of them with the same high pitched, airy, nervous, and squeaky voice.
[edit] Quotes
Here are some of Homer's most memorable quotes...
- (To Henry after he tells Homer that recovering an important book from a classroom will be "as easy as pie" in the episode Man or Mouse).
Homer: You like pie; why don't you go in and get it?
- (After Henry asks Homer how's he doing with measuring Henry's chest in the episode Man or Mouse).
Homer: I don't know...pretty hard with this ruler.
