[edit] Synopsis

Marge decides she needs a vacation, after all the stress at home. She leaves for a place called "Rancho Relaxo", putting Bart and Lisa into the care of Patty and Selma. Maggie stays home with Homer, who realizes how much he needs Marge to take care of things. He goes to see how the kids are getting on at Marge's sisters, and they're desperate to get away, after they are put into slavery by the sisters. Maggie goes looking for Marge after seeing how upset everyone is, including herself, and goes missing. A search breaks out and Maggie is found eventually, as Marge returns home.

  • Lisa: Mom, Bart's making faces at me.
Bart: It's a nervous twitch, and I'm a little sensitive about it, if you don't mind.
  • When Marge refuses to leave her car, and Homer is watching an interviewer approach her car:
Homer: Hey sweetheart! What's a matter? Not getting enough of the good stuff at home?
The car window rolls down, to reveal Marge at the window.
    Homer: D'oh!
Wikiquote has a collection of quotations related to:
  • Later, when Homer has arrived at the scene
Wiggum: Try to talk her out of there. (Hands Homer a megaphone.) But don't put your lips on it or anything..
  • Patty: What's wrong, kids? You've hardly touched your tongue sandwiches. You want something to drink?
Selma: We've got clamato, Mr. Pibb and soy milk.
    Lisa feigns yawning.
Lisa: No thanks. I think I'll just hit the hay.
Selma: It's 12:30 in the afternoon.
Lisa: I'm aware of the time...
Selma: Lisa, you'll sleep in my bed. Bart, you'll be sleeping with your Aunt Patty.
    Bart: ...In your bed?
Patty: Uh-huh. And just a warning: I'm told I snore.
They get up, chuckling to themselves.
    Bart: I'm scared, Lisa.
Lisa: You think you know fear? Well, I've seen them naked!
    Bart: Waaaaauuuugh!
