[edit] History

Before T.J Morris introduced Home Bargains they operated an online shop called www.Halfpriceorless.com, selling goods at half the recommended retail price or less, was shortly transferred to the high street. They had two stores in Blackpool and Lancaster which operated under the retail name of "Half Price or Less.com", with blue, green and white branding.

The Lancaster store remains today, the only store with Half Price Or Less.com branding.

[edit] Stores

Home Bargains stores have red and white branding. They can usually be found in major shopping streets as well as in shopping centres and arcades. Although most are centrally located several are in out-of-town retail parks.

Stores range from small to medium outlets, with the retail park outlets being slightly larger. Most stores have a one way system, with shoppers going in one door an exiting by the other.

[edit] Goods

The chain's slogan is "Top Brands - Bottom Prices". Most of the products that Home Bargains sells are branded[citation needed]. Products include food, toys, games, household products, health and beauty products, candy, drinks, alcohol, and clothing.
