Homaro Cantu, inventor, entrepreneur, chef, and leader in the field of molecular gastronomy operates the Cantu Designs Firm in Chicago, Illinois.
His restaurant Moto Restaurant is famous for creating sushi using a Canon i560 inkjet printer. Rather than using conventional inkjet cartridges, he creates cartridges that are filled with organic, edible "inks." He also has other patents pending around various food delivery systems. Mr. Cantu owns Cantu Designs, a Chicago-based business focused on taking the human dining experience to a new level. Through a dedicated process of design, and in collaboration with DeepLABS industrial design and engineering experts, Cantu Designs is utilizing his innovative patent pending technology to develop products and services having applications in the following areas:
