Homa FC (هما in Persian) is a football club based in Tehran and competing in the Azadegan League. The club has a long and rich history and has always been associated and owned by Iran's national airline carrier, Iran Air. The club was among the most supported and competitive teams in the 70s, but is now playing one flight lower than the top league in Iran. Before the revolution the team was known as Guard FC. At the time the team participated in the Takhte Jamshid Cup. It was relatively successful, finishing third in 1974 and second in 1975.
