Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church is the geographical parish for the town of Latonia, Kentucky. The parish, part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington, Kentucky, was founded in 1891, maintains a school, grades K-12, and holds Mass throughout the week, as well as on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. The parish church is a striking gray stone structure with twin spires visible across the Latonia area, and for miles distant, and has a number of families who have had ties to the parish that go back five or more generations.
