Holy Bull Stakes

The Holy Bull Stakes is a race for thoroughbred horses dedicated to the famous race horse Holy Bull. It is held in February at Gulfstream Park and open to three-year-olds willing to race one and one-eighth miles on the dirt. The race is a Grade III with a purse of $150,000.
Holy Bull earned the Eclipse Award for Horse of the Year in 1994. In the Blood-Horse magazine List of the Top 100 Racehorses of the 20th Century, he was ranked #64.
