Holme, West Yorkshire

Holme is a small rural village 2½ miles above the town of Holmfirth on the edge of the Pennines. Between Holmbridge and Lane Village. It lies partly within the boundary of the Peak District National Park. The source of the River Holme is from the surrounding moorland. It is accessed by the A6024 Woodhead Road. The village contains a Pub and a School.
Near the village is the Holme Moss radio transmitter that is 526 metres above sea level and 200 metres tall.
