Hollywood is a 1989 book by Charles Bukowski which dramatises his experiences surrounding the film Barfly. This book traces his experiences from his writing of the screenplay through to its completion. He is actively involved only as screenplay writer. Although he did enjoy a brief cameo in the film itself, as one of the many barflys.
