The album title Hollywood, Tennessee neatly sums up the style differences between the two sides of this 1981 album by Crystal Gayle. The first five tracks are done in a pop "Hollywood" style, whereas last five tracks are done in a country "Tennessee" style. It includes four singles released in 1982 and 1983 which appeared on the Billboard Country charts: "The Woman in Me" at #3, "You Never Gave Up on Me" at #5, "Living in These Troubled Times" at #9, and "Keepin' Power" at #49. The album did well too, at #5 in the Country Albums chart.
