Holley Rubinsky

Holley Rubinsky is a Canadian fiction writer living in British Columbia.
Rubinsky is the producer and host of "The Writers' Show"[[1]]on CJLY, Kootenay Coop Radio, a half-hour weekly program about the process of writing and experiences in publishing. The show can be downloaded any time. It is particularly useful for people working at their writing, students, and readers curious about how writing becomes a book and what happens after publication.
The title story of "Rapid Transits and Other Stories"(Polestar) was the winner of the first Journey Prize. She won the National Magazine Award Gold Medal for fiction and was nominated for the Western Magazines Award. "At First I Hope for Rescue" (Knopf Canada; Picador U.S.) was shortlisted for the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize, B.C., and was chosen for the Barnes & Noble "Discover great new writers series." "Beyond This Point"[[2]] (McClelland & Stewart) is Rubinsky's first novel.
