Holbeck railway station

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Holbeck Station is an abandoned train station. It served the district of Holbeck, in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

Holbeck Station was unusual in that it had platforms on two different levels, the Holbeck High Level (HL) and the Holbeck Low Level (LL).

The low level platforms were closed to the public in 1958 and the high level platforms succumbed to closure shortly afterwards in 1962.

Trains still pass over the site of Holbeck station on their way in and out of Leeds station.
