Hofus the Stonecutter

Hofus the Stonecutter is a 16th century Japanese legend. It is about a poor man named Hofus who wishes to be other people (and later things in nature) that he sees as more powerful as him. Eventually, after a chain of events, he ultimately realizes that he lives a great life. It teaches many morals that still can be applied to today's world. Some of these morals are:
Do not try to be anything but yourself
The grass is always greener on the other side.
Be careful what you wish for
