Hoersholmiensis

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ulmus minor Hoersholmiensis [1] is an attractive, compact cultivar raised by the Nielsen nursery at Hørsholm, Denmark, in 1885. Introduced to the USA, it was crossed and back-crossed with the Siberian Elm U. pumila to create the popular, disease-resistant American cultivars Homestead, Regal and Urban. It is not known to be in cultivation in the UK.
