Hobgoblin (Dungeons & Dragons)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, hobgoblins are a larger, stronger, smarter and more menacing form of goblins, but not as high up on the goblinoid hierarchy as bugbears. Hobgoblins are humanoids.

In most campaign settings, Maglubiyet, the god of war and rulership, is the chief deity of hobgoblins. However, Nomog-Geaya, the deity of war and authority, is considered the patron deity of hobgoblins.
