HobbyTown USA or HobbyTown is a Big Selling Toy Franchise that was founded in 1980 by Merlin Hayes and Thomas Walla with the purchase of a local business in Lincoln, Nebraska. The Corporation was established so people could own their own HobbyTown store and share the dream. Today HobbyTown USA is a nationally registered franchise. The company is also widely regarded as a leader in the retail hobby industry. As of now, there are over 180 HobbyTown USA stores open or under development in 40 States and it is ranked in the top 2% of all franchises worldwide.
