HNLMS Tromp (F803) (Dutch Hr. Ms. Tromp ) is a De Zeven Provinciën class frigate. It should not be mistaken with the Hr. Ms. Tromp (F801) Tromp class destroyer. It is commanded by Captain H. Itzig Heine.[1] Before this one, eight more Dutch navy ships were named HNLMS Tromp, see HNLMS Tromp for a list. They all have been named after Maarten Harpertszoon Tromp and his son Cornelis Tromp.
