HNLMS De Ruyter (F804) (Dutch Hr. Ms. De Ruyter) is a De Zeven Provinciën class frigate. It should not be mistaken with the Hr. Ms. De Ruyter (F806) Tromp class destroyer. It is commanded by Commander R.P. Bauer.[1] Before this one, thirteen more Dutch navy ships were named HNLMS De Ruyter, see HNLMS De Ruyter for a list. They all have been named after Michiel Adriaenszoon de Ruyter.
