[edit] Sloops or not?

I was just reading about Blackbeard's death, and in that article it says the hired sloops were the 'Ranger and Jane'. Wouldn't a ship with the heading HMS have to be much larger? So I think this article about HMS Pearl needs to be reworked. I'd mark it for such, but am unsure how. --Gero 11:28, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
