MOTTO= "Pro Tanto Quid Retribuamas" (For so much, how shall we repay?)
- Wasn't Belfast involved in the D-Day landings? 81.131.249.202 12:29, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
Yes, see the article for her role in (starting off) the bombardment of German defences that day [User:bigpad|Patrick]]
[edit] Displacement
The IWM website gives her standard displacement as 11,553 tons. This appears to contradict the article. GraemeLeggett 14:31, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- Graeme, you are quite right. A number of sites list contradictory figures but the IWM/RN sites are the most trustworthy and clearly I should have said 11,xxx not 13,xxx. Thanks for spotting this. I'll update article accordingly Patrick.
