HMS Mounts Bay (K627)

HMS Mounts Bay (K627), named after Mount's Bay, Cornwall, was a Bay-class anti-aircraft frigate of the British Royal Navy. Launched in 1945, she has originally been laid down as the Loch-class vessel Loch Kilbirnie.

She was sold to Portugal in 1961.

A Royal Fleet Auxiliary ship, RFA Mounts Bay, commissioned in 2006.
