HMS Leander

Six ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Leander after the Greek hero Leander:
- Leander (1780) - 4th rate of 53 guns which took part in the Battle of the Nile. She was captured by a French ship-of-the-line after the battle, but was recaptured by the Russians and returned.
- Leander (1813) - 4th rate frigate of 60 guns. In the War of 1812 she captured USS Rattlesnake.
- Leander (1848) - 4th rate of 50 guns. She took part in the Crimean War.
- Leander (1872) - Protected cruiser of the Leander class.
- Leander (75) (1930) - Light cruiser of the Leander class. She was transferred to the New Zealand Navy in 1937 and saw service in World War II, sinking the Italian ship Ramb I and, with other vessels, the Japanese cruiser Jintsu.
- Leander (F109) (1961) - Frigate of the Leander class.
