Hmong gangs

[edit] MOD
MOD (unclear etymology; the acronym may stand for Man of Destruction, Master of Disaster, Merchant of Death, or Menace of Destruction) is the largest Hmong gang in the United States, and is especially prevalent in California. MOD started in Fresno, and other cities in California (such as Merced, Stockton, and Sacamento) also have MOD sets.
[edit] Oriental Ruthless Boys
The Oriental Ruthless Boys (ORB) is one of the biggest Hmong gangs in the United States, originating in Fresno, CA.
Reports of multiple rapes carried out by gang members (see for instance this FBI report) have increased their notoriety. ORB groups exist in California, Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. The gang members have not yet worked out a uniform or other form of gang identification, though they often shave their hair. The numerous branches of the gang are nearly all related to Crips, although in some cases, due to local rivalry, some sets have chosen neutrality, or chosen not to form an alliance with any gang. Use to be friends with MOD.
