Classification: Unclass HMCS Regina leaving Pearl harbour for commencement in Exercise RIMPAC.
Exercise RIMPAC 04 is a Multi National Exercise involving countries from Australia, United States, Canada, Korea, Peru, Chile, France and the United Kingdom. The Exercise will be conducted in Hawaiian waters during the period of 29 June to 25 July 2004. Japan will also take part in the Bilatteral Exercise with the United States Navy.
The Australian involvement will include HMA Ships PARRRAMATTA, NEWCASTLE, SUCCESS and RANKIN, Australian Clearance Diving Team One, two P3 orion Maritime Patrol Aircraft and one Rifle Company from the 2nd Royal Australian Regiment. |
