Royal Australian Navy frigate HMAS Darwin (FFG 04)

The Royal Australian Navy frigate HMAS Darwin (FFG 04) underway in the waters of the Persian Gulf alongside the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Darwin is a long-range escort with roles including area air defense, anti-submarine warfare, surveillance, reconnaissance and interdiction. She can counter simultaneous threats from the air, surface and sub-surface. The Truman Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
