The third HMAS Perth (FFH 157) is the last of ten Anzac class frigates to be built for the Royal Australian Navy and Royal New Zealand Navy. She was laid down by Tenix Defence Systems at Williamstown in Victoria 24 July 2003, launched 20 March 2004, and commissioned on 26 August 2006 in Fremantle, Western Australia
