HMAS Albatross

One ship and one shore base of the Royal Australian Navy have borne the name Albatross:

The first Albatross [1] was a seaplane carrier, the first "aircraft carrier" to serve in the RAN.
The second Albatross [2] is the Fleet Air Arm's base near Nowra and Jervis Bay on the coast of New South Wales, about 2 hours drive south of Sydney.
