The HK MP5 PIP is made by Heckler & Koch.

The MP5 PIP (product improvement project), was an early attempt to improve the MP5. It has a straight blockback system like other prototpyes. A notable feature is the flat cocking handle at the top, which is similar to the G36. The gun has a the same sighting system as the MP5 as well as a 3 lug barrel and was 9 mm X 19. The gun has never entered production.
