Hitomi Yoshizawa (吉澤ひとみ Yoshizawa Hitomi?), born April 12, 1985 in the Saitama Prefecture of Japan, is the current leader of both the J-pop group Morning Musume and futsal team Gatas Brilhantes H.P..

Yoshizawa became a member of the Hello! Project group Morning Musume in 2000 as a member of the fourth generation, along with Rika Ishikawa, Nozomi Tsuji, and Ai Kago, and made her debut in the group's tenth single "Happy Summer Wedding". She was also featured in the group's theatrical release of Pinchrunner.
In the past, she has often been perceived as the tomboyish member of the group, with her voice, manners and hobbies. Her first lead in a song was for the single Mr.Moonlight ~Ai no BIG BAND~, in 2001, where she played a dashing playboy character. This only added to the buzz around her masculine side. Since then, however, many think she has matured out of her tomboyish character.
In April, 2005, after the sudden and unexpected departure of Mari Yaguchi from Morning Musume, Yoshizawa became the oldest member of the group, which left her as the new leader of the group. After Rika Ishikawa graduated in May of 2005, Yoshizawa became the last remaining member of her generation. She also is the member in the current lineup who has been in the Morning Musume for the longest amount of time.
Yoshizawa is also captain of the Hello! Project futsal team, Gatas Brilhantes H.P. and has managed to lead the team to victory on many occasions. She has also managed to keep teammate Nozomi Tsuji as goalkeeper for the team, despite her graduation from Morning Musume in 2004.
