Hither Green is a railway station located in Hither Green in the London Borough of Lewisham, south east London, United Kingdom.
The station and all trains are operated by Southeastern Trains; it is in Travelcard Zone 3. Hither Green is a busy commuter station with services to Cannon Street and Charing Cross in Central London and to Orpington, Sevenoaks and Gravesend.
Hither Green station is very close to Hither Green Traction Maintenance Depot (TMD), Grove Park Traction and Rolling Stock Maintenance Depot and Grove Park Safety Training Centre.

- non-stop trains to Orpington, Sevenoaks, Ashford, Margate, Ramsgate, Hastings or Ore from Charing Cross or Cannon Street .

- stopping services to Charing Cross (calling at London Bridge and Waterloo East) from Sevenoaks or Orpington.

The typical off-peak service from the station is:

- 4tph to London Charing Cross, of which two run fast to London Bridge and the other two call at Lewisham before running fast from there to London Bridge
- 2tph to London Cannon Street via Sidcup and Woolwich Arsenal
- 2tph to Gravesend via Sidcup and Dartford
- 2tph to Orpington via Chislehurst, of which one per hour is extended to Sevenoaks

There are two exits to Hither Green Station: Fernbrook Road and Springbank Road.
- Use the Fernbrook Road exit for Hither Green village, 273 bus and routes towards Lee Green.
- Use the Springbank Road exit for Hither Green Lane, 225 bus, private hire cabs and routes towards Brownhill Road and St Mildreds Road.
The exit towards the south-easterly end of platform four is an exit for authorised personnel only via Hither Green Traction Maintenance Depot (TMD). Unauthorised personnel can be fined up to £1000 for trespassing on railway property.

A ticket office is available at this station, but is not open at all times.
Ticket machines are available at all times. There are two ticket machines in the ticket hall (Fernbrook Road exit, between platforms 4 and 5). There is one ticket machine on platform one (for Springbank Road exit).
A refreshment and news stand is at this station, but is not open at all times.
A toilet is available at this station. The toilet is locked, although during manned hours, a member of staff can provide customers with a key upon production of a valid travel ticket. Toilet facilities are not available outside of manned station hours.

This station was formerly part of the Southern Railway, then part of the Southern Region of British Rail from nationalisation in 1947 until the regions were completely abolished at the end of 1992.
On 5 November 1967, an express train from Hastings to Charing Cross derailed outside Hither Green station, killing 49 passengers. See Hither Green rail crash.
