The episode Hits and Misses was aired on March 13, 2006 as part of the TV series 20 to 1 on the Nine Network. It listed the greatest sporting hits and misses. It was repeated on November 26, 2006 as the final repeat for the year.

  1. Steven Bradbury short track speed skating win
  2. Cricket - Don Bradman bowled in his final innings for 0 runs, leaving him with a world record batting average of 99.94, just short of 100.
  3. Swimming - Ian Thorpe falls off the blocks in a false start, thereby not qualifying for the 2004 Olympics. The man who won his heat, Craig Stevens, later gave up his spot for Thorpe.

  6. 2006 FIFA World Cup Qualification - John Aloisi's winning penalty to send Australia into the FIFA World Cup for the first time in 32 years.
