The episode Hits and Misses was aired on March 13, 2006 as part of the TV series 20 to 1 on the Nine Network. It listed the greatest sporting hits and misses. It was repeated on November 26, 2006 as the final repeat for the year.

- Cricket - Don Bradman bowled in his final innings for 0 runs, leaving him with a world record batting average of 99.94, just short of 100.
- Swimming - Ian Thorpe falls off the blocks in a false start, thereby not qualifying for the 2004 Olympics. The man who won his heat, Craig Stevens, later gave up his spot for Thorpe.
