[edit] Emilio Pujol
Emilio Pujol (1886-1980) was a composer and the leading twentieth century musicologist and teacher of guitar.
Investigation into the the Golden Age of the Spanish vihuelists (1535-1576). Studies begun in 1923, stimulated by the noted Spanish musicologist, Felipe Pedrell. (See GFA Soundboard, Vol. VIII, No. 2, May 1981.)
