"His Story III" is the 112th episode of the American situation comedy Scrubs. It originally aired as Episode 19 of Season 5 on April 18, 2006.
JD passes narration responsibilities to the Janitor, and this episode is told from the Janitor's point of view.
The audience are then shown a softer side to the usually cold and hard Janitor when he is invited by Carla to help a patient who is having a bad reaction to a certain medicine. He then becomes attached to a patient suffering from locked-in syndrome, who cannot communicate without a computer that reads his eye-movements. At first the Janitor tries to fix the patient's computer, but ends up ruining it and therefore sits to talk to the patient and keep him company. The episode concludes with the patient thanking the Janitor, who simply smiles and nods in response; happy that he has made a positive difference in someone's life.
