His Name Is Unknown (Japanese: 「彼の名を知らず」 - Ka no na o Shira zu) is episode 42 of the Fullmetal Alchemist TV series originally aired 2004-07-24.
Alphonse's armor is slowly transforming into an explosive compound following Kimbley's attack. Scar fuses his Right Arm of Destruction into Al's armor, slowing the transformation and making Al into a receptacle for the transmutation to come. He leaves the locket containing the hair of the woman from whom Lust was transmuted with Al so Lust cannot approach him. Recovering from his shock at the resemblance of Sloth to his mother, Edward manages to temporarily trap her and Wrath in stone so he, Lyra and Rosé (and her baby) can escape. Ed leaves the exodus and turns back to Lior to try to stop Scar. Mustang, Armstrong and Hawkeye attempt to apprehend Colonel Archer on charges of corruption, but he manages to escape and he orders a force of about 7,000 State Military troops into Lior. Scar begins the transformation, absorbing himself and the soldiers in a massive red incandescence, wiping Lior off the face of the earth. Ed finds Al in the ruins, no longer in danger of exploding because Scar has transformed Alphonse's body into the Philosopher's Stone. Lust, unable to attack because the brothers still have her locket, tells the Elric brothers that they had better start running, for they are now fugitives--from everyone.
