Talk:Hirota Shrine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Article says "It is one of three shrines ... Hirota, Nagata, Ikuta, and Sumiyoshi." So is it three or four? Whogue

- I'm not positive, since I'm not bothering to take the time to read the Japanese entries right now, but I think maybe Sumiyoshi shrine wasn't established by Empress Jingu; So, while Amaterasu might have mentioned four in the legend, only three (Hirota, Ikuta, and Nagata) were founded simultaneously by Jingu. I leave the rewording of the article to you. LordAmeth 10:49, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm... I'll see what I can learn elsewhere and get back to this shortly. Whogue 03:02, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
