Hippolytushoef

The town centre (darkgreen) and the statistical district (lightgreen) of Hippolytushoef in the municipality of Wieringen.

Hippolytushoef (52°54′N 4°58′E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is the main town of the municipality of Wieringen, and lies about 14 km east of Den Helder.

In 2001, the town of Hippolytushoef had 4217 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.95 km2, and contained 1842 residences.[1] The wider statistical area of Hippolytushoef has a population of around 4610.[2]
