The Hintertux Glacier is located in the Zillertal valley of Tyrol, Austria. It offers all-year skiing and the resort guarantees snow throughout the year. The highest point of the glacier is the Olperer summit with a height 3476m above sea-level. The highest lift goes to 3250 m. The ski-area is made up from 225 km of pistes and 62 lifts. A special attraction is the so-called "Glacier Circuit", a run of 72 km and 15.000m of altitude difference. The name Hintertux also refers to a small village lying at the foot of the glacier.
