Hillsboro, Pennsylvania, according to a map dated 1827, was located approximately 5 miles north of Beallsville, near the National Road in southwestern Pennsylvania. However, much is unknown about this small village, including exactly where it was located. It is, however, known that the town is located smewhere in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
