Hillington, Glasgow

Hillington is a residential suburb and an industrial estate on the southwestern edge of the Scottish city of Glasgow.

The industrial estate and the residential area are divided by the Glasgow/Paisley train line. Whilst the residential area is located wholly within Glasgow, the most-part of the industrial estate falls under the jurisdiction of neighbouring Renfrewshire.

The industrial estate was opened in 1938 by HRH The Queen Mother, making it the first of its kind in Scotland.
