Hillcrest Christian School is an unabashedly Christ-centered institution in South Jackson, that leads students to develop a Christian worldview while offering an award-winning college prep curriculum. Hillcrest Christian School's fundraising programs are currently coordinated by Lisa Harris. Being a religious school, the school's Mission includes effort to: Rely upon the Lord and Cultivate an atmosphere of joyful thanksgiving, according to their mission statement.
Additionally, in their statement of faith, they assert, "We believe the Bible to be the complete, inspired, and authoritative Word of God, without error in the original writings, the standard by which all knowledge is judged and taught and the final authority in faith and life. We believe that the salvation and redemption of lost and sinful mankind are possible only by God’s grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord."
In 20 years of trying, Hillcrest Christian has never defeated Jackson Academy or Jackson Prep in football.
