Seems very very similar to power rangers, and yet is not mentioned on the front page, someone needs to add / research the similarity, if they are just parallel east west series' or whatever.
- Maskman was produced as part of the Japanese Super Sentai franchise. The later series in that franchise are the source material for Power Rangers.--SB | T 20:39, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

- We are taking the most literal translation for it here, as there is nothing really that tells us that "hikari (光?)" means laser in the context of this series.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 22:15, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
